Our client is a Kent based Charity where individuals will be able to really see the positive impact they are making to individuals and families with learning disabilities. The Senior Recruitment Advisor is part of the HR team, reporting to the Director of People and managing a small team. You will be responsible for developing, driving and delivering the talent attraction and recruitment services including campaigns, screening, processing and referring relevant applicants using best practice solutions. You will work alongside the Management Team to assess client requirements and tailor the needs to resourcing strategies. The role offers very flexible home/hybrid working.

 

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Agree recruitment targets with the Director of People and manage the Recruitment Advisor(s) to ensure the targets are met
  • Develop, drive and deliver best practice solutions for Talent Attraction including campaigns, screening, and placement of workers
  • Work closely with each service and department to identify their recruitment needs, identifying and implementing strategies to build candidate pipelines to support these
  • Review internal recruitment processes and resources, on a regular basis, ensuring fit for purpose and implementing updated processes and new resources as required
  • Identify a calendar of events and liaise with the Recruitment Advisor(s) to ensure a presence at all suitable careers and job fair in the locality 
  • Identify and build links with appropriate colleges, schools and other external partners to aid the talent pipeline
  • Produce monthly recruitment reports to form part of the quarterly People reports
  • Attend and present at People Committee meetings as required
  • Liaise with the Bank and Student Placement Coordinator and manage key elements of the Relief and Bank worker recruitment process as required
  • Support the Director of People in creating a “right first time” culture within the department
  • Liaise as required with colleagues in the People Department (changing to the People Department) in order to achieve the department objectives
  • Day to day management of the Recruitment Advisor(s)

 

Skills required:

  • Extensive knowledge of how a recruitment function operates including best practice methods
  • Experience of formulating campaigns and managing external talent acquisition
  • Proven experience of processing high volumes of applicants within strict guidelines
  • Experience of working with diverse external stakeholder groups
  • Experience interacting across multiple client sites with a varied range of internal partners and working with conflicting priorities
