An excellent opportunity for a Reward Lead position has arisen with a Client with flexible hybrid working arrangements. You will be responsible for leading the development, maintenance, implementation and communications around the provision around rewards and benefits and managing the offering including end to end management of annual review and bonus, external relationships with key providers and all aspects of advice on comp and bens.

 

 Some key areas of responsibility include:

  • Perform regular compensation benchmarking and participation in agreed surveys; analyse market data trends and evaluate impact, identifying problem areas and making recommendations.
  • Conduct job evaluations for new and existing roles, establishing grade and pay that support the attraction and retention of talent as well as internal consistency.
  • Manage and deliver the annual pay and bonus review, planning processes including timelines, effective communication, budgets, training and reporting.
  • Develop and implement an annual communication plan ensuring regular communication to colleagues is consistent, well planned and supports strategic objectives.
  • Prepare, calculate, and analyse data for gender and ethnicity pay and bonus gap reporting to agree timescales
  • Provide analytics support and data analysis, preparing ad-hoc and regular management reports and reports for reward to the Executive Team, People Governance and Remuneration Committee and Board to provide evidenced based data informing effective insight and decision making.
  • Research, recommend and develop cost-efficient benefits and salary sacrifice schemes to enhance the total reward package.
  • Promote and communicate employee benefits, enhancing employer brand and understanding of total reward approach

 

Knowledge & experience

  • CIPD or Reward equivalent qualification or equivalent level of knowledge and experience in compensation and benefits
  • High level expertise in the use of compensation frameworks and grading systems, job evaluation, pay benchmarking and modelling.
  • Extensive knowledge of compensation practice and trends in remuneration
  • Demonstrated ability of managing annual pay award, bonus and commission payment cycles
  • Experience working within a staff representation or unionised environment.
