Our client, a leading complex organisation is looking for a HR Officer to join their team, reporting to the Employee Relations Manager. You will be responsible for the day to day support to enable the efficient delivery of employee relations engagement, project and policy activity. The role would suit someone with strong administration and writing skills that either wants to move into the HR sector, or someone with HR experience that wants a more employee engagement focussed role. This role is based in East Kent but operates a hybrid working policy.

Hours: Part time – 4 days a week (any days)

 

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Support Project and project activity that considers diverse needs and aspirations of all staff
  • Admin coordination of staff engagement surveys, creating feedback mechanism to understand views about working environment
  • Support development of implementation plans and progress actions of the engagement survey
  • Collaborate with HR colleagues to undertake results analysis and create benchmark information for insightful reports for variety of stakeholder groups
  • Coordinating the reporting of Trade Union facility time and running staff representative elections
  • Support the ER Manager with any Company wide change, development or sustainability activities, recommending methods of staff communication and engagement to ensure key messages are received and understood across all staff
  • Provide internal comms support to the wider HR team

 

Experience required:

  • Ideally Level 5 CIPD but not a pre-requisite
  • Experience of working with large sets of data
  • Excellent written skills to produce engaging material across a range of media types
  • Technical knowledge and understanding of key communication channels and content
  • Excellent administration and co-ordination skills
  • Good IT skills
