Job: HR / People Officer
Location: East Kent / Office Based
Employment type: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: £35,000 - £36,000 DOE

Have you worked with HR systems and people data, ensuring accuracy and producing meaningful reports? This is a broad and hands-on People Officer role within a well-established, multi-site organisation. Working closely with the Group Head of People, you’ll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day delivery of the people agenda.
This role offers real variety, exposure across the full HR lifecycle, and the chance to build solid foundations for a long-term career in HR.
What you’ll be doing
- Acting as a first point of contact for HR queries from managers and employees
- Providing guidance on policies, procedures, contracts and general HR matters
- Supporting onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a smooth employee experience
- Managing and maintaining HR systems, including acting as administrator for the ATS (Eploy)
- Supporting recruitment activity and coordinating with hiring managers and agencies
- Producing and analysing people data and monthly reports
- Assisting with employee relations casework alongside senior HR colleagues
- Coordinating learning and development activity, including apprenticeships
- Supporting HR projects and group-wide initiatives
- Maintaining accurate documentation, systems and records
What we’re looking for
- Experience in a HR or People role (minimum 18 months or relevant placement)
- CIPD Level 3 (or working towards)
- Confidence working with HR systems and data
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a proactive approach
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
