HR Assistant - Mid Kent

Are you immediately available, looking to really develop your HR experience and career within a supportive team environment? This is a progressive opportunity for an individual who has gained some HR exposure, to learn, develop and flourish over the next 10 months. You could also be an A Level school leaver or have recently completed a business apprenticeship looking to focus on HR and development. You will be working for a fast-paced, growth business.

As the Junior HR Assistant, you will be working within an inclusive and highly valued HR team of 5, where you will be given the exposure and autonomy to develop your HR skillset further.

FTC until the End of Dec 2024

Junior HR Assistant key responsibilities:

• Support the recruitment process through LinkedIn and recruitment adverts.
• Monitor recruitment inbox and action.
• Generate offer letters and induction packs ensuring documentation is returned
• Ensuring references are requested and returned
• Maintaining HR system and Mitrefinch database.
• Collecting weekly agency timesheets, send to agencies and checking against invoices
• Managing training records
• Updating records on absence 

To be considered:

• Experienced on working on a variety of IT packages
• Excellent working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint and Excel
• Educated to GCSE level including equivalent grade c or above in Maths and English
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail
• Keen to develop in HR
